A couple more finished things

These are a trio of cuckoo clocks I stitched...maybe in 2014? I can't remember. I was trying to get back into stitching, but then I got these done and didn't know what to do with them, which put a dampener on my enthusiasm. I still don't know what to do with them, though I like them.

Teal cuckoo clocks by Tiny Modernist

I do think that I'll go back and backstitch around the blue squirrels on the upper left clock. Right now their bodies blend into the house too much, leaving their tails looking like handles, or ears.

Thanks for the comment on my blog! Glad you enjoyed the post. You are a "no-reply" commenter because you don't have an email address attached to your profile so I've popped over here to reply.
Love those cuckoo clocks, very sweet. They would look nice in a multi-frame together.
Regarding Pinterest - beware of "freebies", most are not, they are pirated designs stolen from various places. This is the modern scourge of the internet and many designers are stopping because of it.
If a chart does not have the Pinner's name on it as the designer then it is pirated. The safest way to get genuine freebies is direct from the designer's website or blog. And always credit them with a link as a Thank You for their generousity.
There is a long list of genuine freebies on my blog to get you started!

Thanks for making the trip over here - I'm still learning Blogger and haven't figured out things such as how NOT to be a no-reply commenter. :)

I've been searching Google images to try to find the original sources for the squirrel (previous post) and bird, because I am concerned they're not legit freebies. I've tracked down original non-free patterns for some things I've found via Pinterest, so that I could actually buy them, but no luck with these guys.

In retrospect, I should probably not post them. I'll update the posts etc shortly...
Here's the way to add an email to your account -
go into the Dashboard, click on your name in the top right corner, click on Blogger Profile, click on the orange button Edit Profile, tick the box "show my email".
Then when you leave a comment it will come from your email and people can reply to you.
Also, people don't always return to see if there's been a reply to comments they left on a post which is why I always reply via email rather than on my blog.
Always happy to help with any technical queries!

Thanks, done!

I'm used to LiveJournal, Twitter, and Facebook - keeping up with conversations within the social media site. It's good to know that's not the way folks work around here. I wouldn't have thought of it!

Beautiful pieces! Yeah I agree about the squirrels. They are nice though.
